UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAM/PFA) is one of the largest university museums in the U.S. and one of the finest film archives in the world. The museum’s striking 1960s Modernist building houses eleven galleries and a collection that ranges from classical Asian art to recent work by emerging artists. Each year BAM/PFA presents an ambitious schedule of exhibitions exploring international art, both historical and contemporary, as well as important temporary exhibitions that take a new look at art and artists from around the world.

Directions: Take BART to the Downtown Berkeley Station. Take AC Transit lines 51 or 7, or walk 15 minutes. To walk, go up the escalators to Shattuck Ave., walk 3 blocks south on Shattuck, turn left on Bancroft Way. Continue to museum.
From I-80: Take University Ave. exit, east on University to Oxford St., right on Oxford, left on Durant Ave. Take Durant to College Ave., left on College, left on Bancroft Way.
BAM/PFA Offers Parking at the Sather Gate Garage.Entrances on Durant and Channing just below Telegraph. Validated parking is half-price for up to 4 hours.
Note: Go San Francisco Card is accepted until 5:30 pm. During all other times, standard admission will apply.
Unless otherwise noted, the Go San Francisco Card is valid for admissions from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
