Tarasco Latin Arts Gift Shop

Tarasco, established in 1996 by Eugenio Herrera and Doug McClure, began as a desire to share the unique diversity of Latin American arts, as well as to help regional artisans present their work to a larger world. Over the years, they’ve developed many relationships with artisans from throughout America and have become far and away the largest Latin Arts Gallery in San Francisco. Tarasco imports Rustic Pottery, Talavera, home décor items and the unique ceramics of Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. Their collection of wares represents several Indigenous tribes including the Huichol and the Otomi.
Tarasco also carries high quality stained glass; handbags, wallets, table runners, clothes, blankets, and more from Mexico, Peru, and Guatamala, and feature world renowned artists such as Sergio Bustamante, Benjamin Douglas and Alexander Flores. The handmade and unique nature of each item means product variety is the rule.
