GLBT Historical Society

Included General Admission with the Go San Francisco Card
The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Historical Society produces exhibits and programs that explore the history and culture of GLBT people and the communities that sustain them. Exhibits feature photographs, video, posters, artifacts, textiles, and other objects and images from the extensive archives that the GLBT Historical Society maintains on site. Past exhibitions have explored the role of politics, sports, art, and music in GLBT life. The GLBT Historical Society is located in the heart of San Francisco’s cultural district, within easy walking distance of Union Square and Yerba Buena Gardens. A visit to the GLBT Historical Society is a truly “Only in San Francisco” experience.
